We Care Ministries... we've been there.

9/11 Ground Zero – Participated in search and rescue for three months after the attack. We worked side by side with rescuers to care for them and also prayed over the bodies – and wrapped them in American flags – when they were recovered.

Hurricane Katrina – Assisted police and military with the evacuations at the airport and off the boats of those needing assistance. Because of an unfortunate state of distrust by some of the victims towards the police and the military, the We Care Army of Compassion played an important role.

Florida Hurricanes – Established and ran a disaster relief shelter for seniors displaced by the storm. The average age of the residents in our care was 78 years old. We cared for them until long-term relief was established.

San Diego Wildfires – Built a tent city in the midst of a devastated area that provided temporary housing, medical, informational and basic need support for about 400 residents whose homes were burned in the fires.

Oklahoma City – After the 1995 bombing of the Murrah Federal Building, we provided support for the search and rescue teams.

Washington D.C. shootings and Massacre in Killeen, Texas – We provided crisis counseling for families and friends of victims.
